Ouch on the mags. EAA is 2 for $50

I was going to order from EAA but last time I did I got the Tanfoglio red follower type that tend to jam a lot. The mec-gar mags run flawless in my gun.

Just curious but did you tell them on the phone when you ordered you want the black K-10's or you are sending them back?

I ordered them from the EAA website a few months back. I was under the assumption that the k10 was standard issue now at EAA. You don't get a choice on EAA website. It just says Witness 10mm magazine.

I haven't ordered on-line but does it give you a block for comments?

I didn't notice. Perhaps. Their website is the most non user friendly I have ever seen.

Have you loaded IMR-4227 in your Redhawk in the past ?
I used it in the past and found it does not burn completely
It leaves a lot of powder residue, which get into the action and in-between the Cylinder and the Ejector Star
I had to load the 44 to some higher pressure to alleviate the unburned powder issue
Hope you have better luck than I did with it
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what came after HIM !

I usually load it to higher pressures for hunting. I use it for hunting in areas that are handgun only for bear or deer. Are you sure it's actually unburned powder? Powders like Unique and 4227 leave behind ash, which some people mistake for unburned powder.

I believe what was left was actually the Cellulose Carrier / Base / Medium of the Powder is self
Little tiny beige square granules, void of Nitro
