I understand moving isn?t an option for many, but for me personally, I just couldn?t live in that kind of fear day after day. Strategically positioned machine gun turrets could be another option 😀

Just to be clear here, isn't Minneapolis ran by democrats?

It is John, we have a lot of changes to make come November. I?m just thankful we live in a little farming community 40-50 miles away, I just wouldn?t deal with that very well, nor would my wife.

One of the biggest stumbling blocks we face in MN are the vast numbers of liberals in the metro (the brunt of the state?s population) if it wasn?t for the city folk, the rural and outlying areas would vote overwhelmingly republican for the most part, hence the reason MN can never shake this mess

It's like that everywhere.  The cities and large populations, many times that aren't even natural born citizens, and trying to change this country into the one they fled.

And you have the stupid people, and the "tolerant people" all turning a blind eye to it.  There is not enough pushback.

You would think the alarming jump in crime would be enough to wake these folks up, but that?s apparently not the case. Our local sheriff has a great job, other than DUI arrests and accidents, there isn?t much going on, plus he?s just a super nice guy. We?ve discussed reloading on several occasions

I live in Oregon, which is much the same way.  The Portland Metro area has all the population so they control the state.  As an example, during the most elections recently, Oregon has voted Democrat.  But when you break it down by county, it's only 4 counties in the state that typically vote that way.  But those 4 counties account for over 50% of our state population.  But outside those areas, most Oregonians are pretty conservative in my experience

I feel for anyone that lives in that type of place but the bottiom line is that most of the citizens vote for it.  In fact many of them vote for it over and over for decades.  Best option is to bring the electoral college type set up to each state's local election.  Each county gets a vote but only one vote per county.  That's the only way to break free of the metro areas out voting everyone else.

The funny part is that the libs live right in the thick of the crime and don?t seem to care

That environment is all they've ever known......they think its that way everywhere.  Most of them can't wrap their brains around the fact that most of the country doesn't live like they do in the leftist run cities.

I?ve read multiple times that when armed juvenile carjackers are caught, some for the 3ed or 4th time, they are just  released because they don?t want to ?disrupt their little lives? If you stick a gun in someone?s face and then take a 50 - 100,000 dollar item that you didn?t work for, your life better get disrupted, and disrupted good. Several of the victims have had carry permits, but when these thugs travel in packs of 5 or 6, many times all being armed, the permit holder can rarely do anything. Then you have the trauma associated with these events, some of these folks can?t even leave their houses because they?re so freaked out. The whole thing just ticks me off. If I would have pulled a stunt like this when I was a kid, I would have spent a few years in a boys school, but apparently that is too disruptive nowadays.
