Anyone use Postimages for a free image uploading option?, or even something better that I?m not aware of, but that is still free. Postimages gives you the option to shrink the given picture for the desired application, E.g. 640 x 480 for message boards, then offers 9 different choices from Hot Link, Direct Link, and everything in between. Which option do you think would would work best to get the desired results?
Thanks

After the Photobucket started to over charge people, I moved to Postimages site and started to reassign all of my posted pics there and went back into the 10mmfirearms forum to readdress all of the posting here with the Postimages addresses so they would continue to be available for all to view.
So far everything has been good to go using their hosting site.

Thanks Shadow, but once you?ve selected the 640 x 480, or which ever, which one of the 9 options below do you choose for the best and easiest viewing

Hi
I also use Postimgages, it's very easy to use. I also use a program called IrfanView to edit pictures.. might want to look into that.
WHY DO THEY CALL IT COMMON SENSE WHEN IT IS SO UNCOMMON?

Thanks, I guess my question is, which options in Postimages do you use when sizing and creating the correct link?, I?m assuming for sizing, you select 640 x 480 for message boards, but for the link, some either take you to Postimages URL, or give you this goofy little thumbnail image. I?d just like to make it the most user friendly when people want to view the image

Ok I think I understand the question...  If you wish to post a pic in a thread, just use the "Hotlink for Forums" option. On the far right there is a little 'copy' icon. Hit that and paste the link in the thread where you want it. The pic will show up where you pasted the link. If you don't want to put a pic in the thread, but just want to put a link, use the "Direct link" option. Paste the link in the thread where you want it.

That's how this forum works.. But different forums do things differently...

Thanks RDub01, I?ve always been able to make it work, was just trying to find the most user friendly method for the folks viewing it
