Well, was looking for a hicap 10mm, and settled on this pistol.  I got the Sportsman Warehouse Exclusive with the green slide.  16+1 capacity, optics ready.  I have put 100 rds of my 180 gr loads through it with no problems.  The Gear Up promotion was applied for online, and 3 free magazines and a range bag are enroute.  I was hot for the S&W MP for awhile, but they lost me.  I have a Burris Fastfire 3 to mount, when the plate comes from SA.  Well built, finished, and so far so good.  Ne regrets!

Was looking into that, or the Sig XTen, both being great options I think, glad you like it so far

Very nice package deal. I got the promotional email from Springfield...think I'm going to call the dealer on Monday and order one.
I'm very happy with the 3.8. The longer barrel XDm will be even sweeter

REDLINE

I had the XDm with the longer barrel for a while. Then sold it because I didn't like it better than my Glocks. Main reason was the trigger reset wasn't as pronounced as my Glocks. A nice thing about the XDm pistols is very good chamber support that handle my nuclear loads (200gr XTP at 1250fps from a 4" barrel). But I use aftermarket barrels in my Glocks to compensate, and then still like the Glocks better overall.

Hope you enjoy your XDm, as it is a very good 10mm platform, and may have just jumped in value being that they have recently been discontinued.  ;)
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

It sounds like it runs like my XDm 3.8 compact 9, I haven?t had a single feeding or jam issue of any sort in many many rd?s

I originally wanted the M&P 10mm.  Really glad I got the SA instead.

Congrats on a great pistol! If you start shooting full power to nuclear loads, you might want to get a guide rod from Springer Precision and a higher power spring from Wolff. I am running a 26# in my 4.5 OSP.
