Hogdon purchased Alliant and Ramshot powder company

This may not be new news for some of you, but was news to me.  Hogdon purchased Alliant/Ramshot powder company and has now taken over production.

I have some very mixed feelings about this.  While I've never had a problem from any of the manufacturers before, I am just nervous putting all of my eggs in the same basket and simply hope that everything works out.

They purchased Accurate and Ramshot, not Alliant. And yes, we should all be nervous when we only have a couple of sources for our powder.

Thanks for the correction.  I misread the announcement.

But, we agree.  While I have no problem with either company specifically, I don't get the warm and fuzzies about it.

did you see the date when the acquisition was going to take place? October 2020, over 2 years ago. so maybe that part of our current powder shortage.
