So I just picked up a lightly used one.  It is my 3rd P220 10mm (I previously had a full stainless and a hunter).

I prefer adjustable sights, but was never wow'ed by the SAO triggers or slick wood grips.  To be fair, I probably didn't give the others enough of a chance and probably could have improved the triggers with more use or a good polish.  Anyway I jumped on this one when it came up and glad I did.  The SA trigger is really nice - better than the dedicated SAOs I've used.

The other thing I've struggled with previously was the rounded and smooth slide serrations which made racking the slides a challenge with those strong recoil springs.  To my surprise, the Emperor has very sharp slide serrations making racking a simple task.

Only thing I didn't like on the Emperor (other than the fixed sights) was the stock short reach trigger (not to be confused with the SRT kit) so I replaced it with a Grayguns curved which is much better for my hand size.

Anyway all the P220 10mms are nice, but I'm surprise by some of the difference.  Not sure if it is batch related or model related - I don't think the Emperor got any special treatment.  Curious if anyone else noticed differences.  Haven't tried a Legion version but i understand it did get some special treatment.
