Liberalism truly is a disease.

Background checks to buy powder. Then some idiot will buy a case of ammo and dump the powder out of each round. Then it will be background checks for all ammo purchases. Then someone will make a bomb out of charcoal. Next step: background checks to have a barbeque. When will these liberals start presenting laws that punish criminals?

Here is yet another issue, where when anything happens, the Government Gone Wild, jumps on the CONTROL BAN WAGON. I see this as yet another agenda scheme, to create a paperwork trail or as a registration scheme and driving up prices to those who use these products for re-enactments or legal sporting, hunting and target shooting enthusiast using them in their proper manner! Examples; Civil War re-enactors, Cowboy Action Sports, Muzzle Loader hunting/shooting and even those in competitions that shoot anvils.

The people who are set to do criminal harm or evil heinous acts, will not be stopped by laws or regulations. They will find what ever is necessary to carry out their plan against the laws of man or God!

The best part to me is the inference that, while only 7-8% of gun owners reload, all of us reloaders use black powder.  I don't know about you guys, but I don't recall EVER buying black powder.

And even if I did own a muzzle loader or was into BPCR or some other discipline, I am reasonably certain I would use one of the modern high-performance substitutes.

And, black powder is reasonably simple to make yourself.  Not to mention, as the article points out, there are actually much high yield explosives that can be easily made from garden center supplies.  Just ask Oklahoma City or West, Texas.

The stupid really does burn.
