Concealed Carry reciprocity Nation Wide Amendment up for vote they need 60 VOTES to pass! This would allow concealed carry of one state to be accepted in other states without having to get separate license for a particular state. Currently many states accept the license of other states, this would be national carry by those who have gone through all the legal background check and obtained a license of their state! VOTE is 57 yea / 43 nea did not pass!

Assault Weapons BAN! as voted on! 40 yea / 60 nay Does not pass!

Just remember that this will come right back up again as soon as we have another election. If they ever get to 60 it will all come crashing down and fast. That is their goal. Nothing less. If you are not a member of the NRA even if you disagree with some of their policy they are the ones who put the pressure where it needs to be put. I was a Life Member at 21 now I am about 40 more than that. I am proud to say I am a Life member. My father fought for freedom and so did I so they get no apologies from me.

I think this is a good wake up call for all of us.  It's time for each and every one of us to get off our back sides and get out there doing our part to make sure some of those clowns don't get re-elected again.

The grabbers seem pretty pissed off. I'm waiting for the other shoe to fall like an attempted illegal presidential order or something. If that doesn't happen and things settle down for a bit make sure you stock up. This is likely going to come up again. Buy low during the sell off and hold on to it.

Yeah...Last go round I cleaned up in between the lull.  And I have two stripped AR lowers I need to build up into guns.

I am going to be smart this time too, and pick up a couple more AR's in vanilla clothes just to have available to sell when this happens next time.

As important as being involved in the political process is, I think it equally important, if not more so, to take the time to educate those around us about the importance of the second amendment and responsible gun ownership...

Those against us seem misguided or disingenuous because of what we know to be true but for those that don't know, the other side's appeals to emotion and "common sense" carry weight. If you hear something often enough you can grow to believe it, true or not...

It is not always a comfortable conversation but we need to make sure they hear the truth!
