I have an older full-size steel witness, as well as an Elite Match.  I very much like them both.  I can't comment on the poly witness but would not hesitate to add one to my collection of 10's if money, gun and me ever intersect.

Intercooler

Go for it! I have a Hunter and Match that function 100%.

The Witness is a nice Pistol
I love my Full Sized Steel (Frame) with its 10mm Compact and Longslide Uppers
I carry the Semi-Compact every day
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what came after HIM !

pacapcop

What ammo you use when carrying compact?

What ammo is that? I never knew Winchester to make a 180gr and/or Silver Dot.

The only thing I know of they make at all is a 175gr Silvertip.

You're probably right....my bad
I've had these for a few years and could quite remember
Thought they were 180s, but knew they were Silver something or others
Never bothered to look them up again
I know I was looking at the 180gr Double Tap Gold Dot a little while back
Musta got them mixed-up in the dusty mess that is my memory

Well,I bought the Witness P-F today, took a box of 170grn.PMC into the range to try her out.Nice groups,a little low and to the right.Similar to my g-20 but better.Fits in the same holster I used for the 20.Ordered a 6" Hunter that should arrive in the next few weeks.

DenStinett

6" would be GREAT
My (4 7/8") Longslide is very fun and quite accurate
Kinda like a High Cap Delta Gold Cup:

Oh boy. That's going to be fun. The dealer I bought mine from told me "Don't do anything with the trigger. Just shoot it for about 300 rounds and it will smooth out." I'd say it was closer to 5-600 rds, but he was right. IMO the Hunter is a very good buy--a 10 on my scale of gun-for-the-money, and a 10 on the old fun-factor scale, too.

Where are you guys going to buy your Witnesses? I can't find anything up here in Washington State and no luck online either. Am I just not holding my mouth right?
