Forum still screwed up

I first want to thank all that are working on the forum but it is still screwed up much worse than before. I have to login on every page and it takes me to the main menu for the forum. What a mess. Craig

Can you share what browser you are using, and what OS you run.  I am trying to replicate this so I can establish a root cause, but I am unable to replicate the failure. This makes me think it is something specific to your browser behavior.

Hey Craig,

Reviewing the access logs for your access just now trying to get some clues about your issues.

The forum was restored with the "primary" domain as https://10mm-firearms.com/

Please note the absence of a "www." in the domain name.  If you have bookmarks or some cached session information that makes your browser try to take you to "www.10mm-firearms.com" then you will likely experience what you are describing.  One way to test this would be to use a different browser than you normally do.  I tend to recommend Opera in cases like this because people usually don't have it installed, so it is "clean" of bookmarks and cached data.

Patriot and I are also discussing some other options as well, but they are at least a few weeks out.

I never had any issues until the forum update and it hasn't worked since.  Firefox is the browser. My shorcuts are a little strange but I saved them with the forum open at the time and it has worked for years.  Craig

This is kind of interesting and maybe a fix of sorts. If I make new shortcuts it is working with the 10mm reloading sub directory. Can't seem to make it work with the other reloading sub directory but am still trying to login to those. Will update as I go. Craig

Well.............All fixed but not sure what I did to login to save new shortcuts but it worked so thanks to all for the help!!!!!  Craig

Well....

I probably screwed you up then.  If saving new shortcuts worked, then it confirms my original suspicions.  Your shortcuts were all to www.10mm-firearms.com while the recovered forum was installed as just 10mm-firearms.com.

The reason I say I have screwed you up is I re-configured the forum last night about 9:30 MDT to www.10mm-firearms.com.  So I may have broken all the shortcuts you created yesterday.  Sorry!

However, the new config seems to correct a number of issues including the redirects which were not working before either.

Well I have been on and off the forum all day and there were no issues for me. I am not sure how these shortcuts handle logins but they seem to.  Craig
