I am planning to purchase a 45 acp suppressor and I want to mount it on my MK10 CMMG Pistol.

I would like to get your thoughts and experiences with powders and bullets that you all prefer to load and run in your suppressed 10mms.

The thing about suppressed sounds you will need to keep velocities below 1100 fps of less.  Longer barrels tend to increase velocities...
So with reduced velocity you will likely want slightly faster burning powders for cleaner burns to reduce fouling to place your round of choice in the right velocity range around 1050 fps.

Rounds over the 1100+ will exhibit the sonic crack going down range...

Thanks.

I do reload for suppressed 6.5 CM, 9mm in MP5s, 7.62x51 in a Smith M21, 556 for a Colt M16& AR15, and 45 acp for a 100 % UMP clone. My Gemtech UMP 45 suppressor is dedicated for the UMP only. HK used a strange mounting system on their HK UMP Barrels.

I just wanted to know what powders you all may prefer reloading for suppressed 40 S&W and 10mm.
