I am actually getting senile because I was sure that I had typed "I wonder how that 12 grain/77 grain cast bullet load would work in my 7.5" AR pistol."  But obviously I didn't.

Well you did mention about a 77 grain cast bullet.  The data DDiller posted originally was a jacketed bullet I believe, but might still be close!

Looks like 1775 fps with 100% burn in your 7.5" pistol.  Looks like 100% burn in anything longer than 4.5".

You asking for problems if your using BD in a AR
Stick with TAC or IMR 8208 in the 5.56.
