Two older gentleman I have gotten to know lately have given me older small rifle primers and 45 long colt and other misc empty brass. Both used to reload but don't anymore. I have loaded for both of them one needed 303 Enfield which I do reload. The other needed misc loads like 38sp and wanted the blue bullets for it as I had been talking them up lately. Just a nice thought I feel!!  Craig

Ran into one of the older guys today and he gave me 45 long colt but so few it is hardly worth the effort but I thanked him very much and I guess between him, gun shows and my stock I have around 300 to load. Just talked to the 9 year olds mother and my loads were fine so I can do some more for him. Craig

Hey Ken, I was starting on the 45 long colt using a bag of brass I had on hand bought at a gun show. Got into about 10 or so and discovered I was depriming 44 Rem mag cases not 45 long colt. Ever had that kind of week!!!??? Boy it seems everything I try to do is fought with a wrong outcome. No lasting damage but wasted time for sure!!!  Craig  I guess I will have to get a 44 rem mag since I have the brass. Ha ha

Did 50 of the 45 long colt but then found my 45 taper crimp die so will taper crimp today as it's just a nice finish to the rounds. Why 50 you ask because I have a 50 case for them, perfect. Well what next?  Craig

gadabout:  You should seriously consider forming an LLC.  You are placing all your assets at risk by reloading for these
gentlemen.  It's a nice thing that  you are doing for these old boys, but if there should be any damage to person or property during the use of your reloads, you could be held personally liable.  Receiving loading components and giving loaded rounds back to them would be considered bartering, so, in effect, you are being paid for the bullets, even tho there may not be any cash involved in the transaction.

I hate to put a damper on your operation, but well-intentioned folks have lost everything doing just what you're doing.

Ah I reload for free for these guys and they came up with primers and brass on a clean out/move, something like that. There is no money involved and not even a trade involved.  Craig

I am prepping cases for 300 blackout and 380 as I got some brass at the last gun show that is very clean but primer pockets are a challenge to say the leased but only on a couple cases so far. I have a reamer but can't find it just now. Story of my life!! The 380 is my brass but needs everything done to it but I have two weeks and it will be done tomorrow waiting on bullets. I am getting some bullets from the net that aren't too badly priced!!!! Craig

Back from the gun show and bought nothing, great show!! My friend said he was trying my rounds in 45 long colt before his son burned them up. He shot a perfect bullseye with the first shot and made them take down the target to keep the target for showing off I guess. My rounds were perfect in his sons Judge. Will do more as needed. Craig
