Hornady Errata - 180gr / #9

I recently read in the attached that the printed max load value of #9 is 14.9gr for a 180gr bullet in 10mm, but was an error.  It should be 14.2gr max.  Well I had previously worked up a load to 14.9gr (and even a bit higher) and reached a velocity of just over 1320fps out of my M610.  I used a 180gr Brazos Precision  FP NLG cast PC bullet, and I had no issues, no sticky cases, but I don't measure the case heads.  Have anyone ever come across this before?  Makes me wonder if some load data publishers are intentionally publishing light loads to CYA.
