High of 32 today with snow flurries In Mt.
You can't fix stupid but you can numb it for a while with a 2X4

It's 35 right now and could go to like 38 even over night. Could melt all this s..t. I hope anyway.  BTW went to a gun show Saturday but it was a bust as my holster making guy was not there. Found out later he was sick at home so I can't be to pissed off. Prices were high and not to much to pick from in general. Well I did find some 45 long colt brass I need and it was priced OK I thought. Well that's it.  Craig

It's 45 right now and supposed to be hotter tomorrow!! It's also a sloppy mess out there and I had to get a trailer out of the snow for my brother to use and that meant I had to go buy a battery but I did everything and moved the trailer.  Now on to reloading, My reloading room is very nice temp wise but what to reload??? Will start with early processing 45 long colt that I just got at a show last weekend. Needs deprimed and cleaned but was corn cleaned before I bought it so it isn't too bad. I want to check with my holster making friend to see how my reloads shot for his 9 year old son. I can make them hotter or lighter as needed. The data was 9.5 for the bullet max but I loaded 8.5 but he is shooting a Judge, The revolver not a real judge. Anyway so that is why I can't even finish them at this point. Craig

I had a terrible dream I was trapped in my house from the snow, when I woke I saw the air conditioner somehow got set to 65 :-)

OK snow is almost gone. I got my blue bullets order in today and it is the 135g 9mm and 158g 38/357 bullet. Got something to reload now anyway!!! I got the 357 rounds for x LEO friend that will possibly never shoot them but he is a friend that wants them. I am also doing 38SP and 357 for him, 50 of each. I got the 9mm for me and will take a few days to dream up a load. It's exciting as the 115g 9mm shoot so good it scary!! Got a bunch of everything so I can reload 38/357 and 135g 9mm for myself whenever!!  Craig

Hey Kenk, I am done with the 38 special and they turned out nice. I am moving on to the 357 but have good data for those two rounds. Nothing in print for the 135g 9mm but I am thinking 5.3 or so as the 124g are at 6.4 and the 147 are at 5.0 so I am light in the middle. Also I have shot my 115g at 6.3 for years so I am safe at low 5's to see how they shoot. Plenty of time for that round as I have a month before I can shoot anything. I'll keep chugging right along!!!   Craig

Wellllll the 357 is done. I will work on the 135g 9mm load for me tomorrow. I did find a load with 135g bullet but it didn't relate to well at first glance.  Craig

This is my luck. The LEO that I just did the 357 and 38sp it turns out has not been around for a couple of weeks. He used to be at my morning breakfast place every day but hasn't been there in two weeks. Sooo it looks like I don't need anymore 357 or 38sp for target shooting.  Brings up something else, when I was doing the 38sp I said to myself if I had a gun to test these rounds as far as chambering it would be nice!! Wait a minute I dooo have a 38sp. That really sums up confusion on my part ah?  Oh well on to 135g 9mm or preping 45 long colt.  Craig

The 9mm brass is in the oven. Came out of the wet tumbler looking new. I have worked up the numbers extrapolating to 5.5 max so I will be at 5.3ish. Remember this is strictly target rounds so doesn't have to be anything but accurate. Oh I am using Power Pistol.  Craig

Done loading them at 5.3.  It's kind of a 135g round nose cone shaped pointed bullet if that's possible. I guess more cone shaped than the others but will feed just fine. Can't wait to try them!!  Craig

Me too, what's real cold to you? For us in MN -20 with a windchill equaling -45 is considered really cold, and yes, I hate it more every winter 😀
