Well found out these are new bullets made by Sig. I was chugging away at the brass and depriming a bunch of real nice 9mm. Will resize, flare and reprime tomorrow.  I would guess these v-chrown are over runs bought by American Reloading for resale and then I bought them. They are real nice. Will reload with defense in mind. Craig

Afternoon Craig,
Great find it sounds like. I used to reload tons of 9's but haven't found it time or cost effective the last few years. Now with all the supply change issues, I'm rethinking this. I still have a tons of factory and defense ammo on hand, but am unsure what the next 4 years will bring.

Hey Ken! I do like to reload as much or more than shooting and I too have tons of loaded rounds.  I just saw these and had loaded these in the past so I got a quick 500 for cheap like 60.00 or so. Since my last post I have resized, flared and set the primer on this 100 and will finish tonight or tomorrow.  Craig

Lol, that's awesome, just wish I had more time for that. Normally I only have time for reloading on the weekend. My wife knits and watches hallmark movies, and I hang out in my office / man cave / reloading room with our yellow lab...stinken old people, I tell-ya😀

I was thinking I would just do the de-capping and then the next day the resizing, flair and primer setting but I get on a roll and have nothing else to do so I keep going. Boy in this weather and with the virus and all it's not like you can go out side to shoot or whatever. I have always loaded a lot in the winter but this year it's just too much. I have so many rounds I can;t even count them all to know what I got. That's OK though as I can shoot some and find some as I go. I have done this already as I found some HST bullets and couldn't remember loading them in the past but went to look and I have like 300 already loaded. 0h well!!!!  Craig

Got the 100 done and while I was doing them I came across 165g 10mm v-chrown just sitting on the bench in a cup. I think I was doing 40 cal and lost interest but I do like the v-chrown as I have used a lot in the past it appears. BTW working in the reloading shop a couple of days ago I fixed my powder thrower as it was always a  a little loose and would swivel sideways when you didn't want it too. Got that all fixed and it is nice to have a solid base for the thrower. Boy we are having fun now.  Craig

I was planning to do a few of these for my holster making guy that I thought was going to be in Columbus this weekend but its the weekend of the 20 or so. I have two weeks to get ready for him and I have 100 blackouts resized, cleaned and primed and will finish this afternoon. I thought I didn't have brass but I found a bag of must be like 500 or so. These are the folks I just loaded 45 long colt for their 9 year old son but they haven't had time to shoot yet. I am going to load 50 of the v-chrown for the wife to have for protection. I just gave her a bunch of blue target loads but she hasn't had time to shoot them either. At lease it keeps me busy!!  Craig

OK now this is getting weird even for me!! I have done 100 9mm brass and have them in the tumbler. I have looked at my stored completed rounds and I have a few hundred of the 147 HST and v-chrown already loaded up. I think I must have gotten like 500 147g 9mm pulldowns and loaded up some and left the bowl full of the rest. I don't shoot 147 much and only had it for the S&W 910s. SO... what to load next, more of those, more of the 115g, more blue bullets. Boy I have a ton of everything in stock but it is starting to snow here again and Ohio doesn't know much about snow removal in general.  BTW I also have a ton of critical duty loaded up. It's a lot of JHP but I like to shoot them but I better like them as I have a few thousand to go thru. Well will report as soon as I figure out what I am going to do!!!!!   Craig

DDRiller don't know if your following this thread but after cleaning the bullets on the other thread I used your idea using Dawn and Lemishine as it is an old idea that I had tried before with no real success as there was too much suds. I cut way back on the dawn and it worked better than ever before, very shiny which I love. Anyway thanks for making me remember to try the Dawn.  Craig

Just did 100 9mm resizing, flare, and primer setting. It just came to me that the brass and bullets are beautiful!! I never thought of reloading as an art or that something I created like a reloaded bullet was a thing of beauty but it is to me and I really enjoy it. I couldn't find a bad piece of brass in the lot and the bullets all look brand new out of the wet tumbler. Well worth the extra effort!! Boy it is cold in the reloading room and we did get 1" of new snow on top of the 3" we got a couple of days ago. I can only do 100 of something then in to warm up some. Well that's it. I may go out and finish the 147g v-chrown but there is always tomorrow.  Craig

Yes! Craig the handloading can be quite the passion and art form!  I enjoy handloading as much as the shooting & testing the results from the fruit of our labor...
