Am I a hoarder??

I have always kept 4 to 6 lbs of Power Pistol in my stock as I use it for everything handgun wise. I was down to a small amount enough for 2 or 3 hundred rounds of like 9mm. Couldn't find any at the gun shows and my local store didn't have it until yesterday. I bought two lbs yesterday and two today. It's enough to last me a year or two as I get 1000 rounds out of a pound at leased. So am I hoarding? Possible but a guy told me at the gun show all powders were very available and there was no shortage of powders. It leads me to believe my local supplier is an idiot and has no idea how to stock his store. All I can say is I now have my stock!!!!!!! Craig PS all I need now is primers!!!

Regardless of the times, I am a firm believer that a well stocked pantry is a prudent choice 😊

I don't know what you that guy told you, but the stores near me have nothing in stock. I just re-verified at one of the websites: Select reloading->powder and click 'in stock only' and no results. And there aren't a small shop. Big store in a big city.

I'll just say if my local place has powder it's available everywhere if people stock it or at leased order it. Craig
BTW I went to Midway and Powder Valley and you are right they don't seem to have any powder.

last night I checked all my sources for powder & primers and NO one had ANY.

Today I checked the same local gun shop and they have small pistol primers, I bought a brick and may be tomorrow I may buy another!!!!! happy days are here again!!! Craig

With the virus and all I wanted to go back to get 1000 more primers but they are at 1 brick per day and I knew they would be gone by tomorrow so I changed virus masks and went in and got another 1000 no questions asked !!! Changed coats as well. Now that is low but I feel good about it anyway !!! Craig

Well I got 100 9mm in the oven drying. I'll reload them tomorrow putting primers in this afternoon. Ain't but something to do!! Craig
