Some time back, maybe in October I finally got a canister of VV N105 and started loading it in Starline brass with Hornady 180 gr XTPs and Speer 180 GDs. I started with a load of 10.5 gr and the Speer gold dots. Im getting sort of old now and my eyes are part bionic at this point. Result is my "target vision" gets fatigued fairly quickly.
Any how the good news is that with the gold dots I produced a 3 shot group of about 1" at 103yds. A try with the XTPs yielded  one 3 shot of about 3" and another under 4". The bad news was that I could not do this every time. My eyes would fatigue after a few shots and results became erratic. The fact that it was not only one group but "several" suggests that the combination of the load and firearm(Sig P220) are capable of some very good accuracy. I was quite impressed. Now I just need to find out how to duplicate the results consistently.. The velocity by way of a Chrony was 1210 to 1220 FPS. I did try a few more loads with increases up to 11.6grs with the results being inconclusive. Now that the current hunting season is over maybe I can try some of the heavier loads.
The other bad news is that I only have 14 of the gold dots left.

I guess what I'd like to find out is whether anyone else has had good results with N105. ?

I've got about 200 different powders on hand and have tried everything "suitable" in the 10mm.

I settled on VV N105.
With the 180gr Gold Dot, I use 11.9gr, CCI 300 and get 1390fps from my 6" Witness.  I prefer to use less primer and more powder in little cases like the 10mm.  If you go with mag primers in such a small case, you will most likely have to reduce the load.  I imagine it's over the Saami pressure limit, but I'm good with it.

Back in 2012 I played with some N-105 with 180gr Speer TMJs
I worked up to 12.0grs, but that was a little hot.. 11.7 was better.
The loads were compressed quite a bit as I recall.. and accuracy was fair..

The 12.0gr load yielded 1240 fps and the 11.7gr load yielded 1215 fps.

I did find N-105 to be fantastic in .357 Mag with 158gr cast bullets!
WHY DO THEY CALL IT COMMON SENSE WHEN IT IS SO UNCOMMON?

VihtaVuori shows 9.9 grains as max in their data (180 grain)...which may be conservative, but when running 3 plus grains over a published max load results will most often be unpredictable and erratic...

Slam, the heaviest load I saw here wa only 2.1 gr over VVs conservative  recommendation. N105 is a single base powder which usually means that pressures are more linear in progression. Double based powders tend to have operating ranges they only play well in. Deviate and they do get weird. Fortunately the N1** series of VV are single base and you can creep upward with relatively predictable results. With Spherical and double base powders you are absolutely correct.

If Tony posted it it is safe in his pistol.  He has forgotten more about firearms than most of us will ever know.
