Morning, any of you own, or have shot the Kahr CM9? From what I can tell, it's potentially a reliable little pistol, other than not having the greatest trigger; plus the price is right
Thanks

I have shot one.  A good friend has one and I shot it a few years ago.  It was a competent little pistol, but I discounted it due to small capacity.  My EDC is a Glock 20, so carrying a large gun is no issue for me.  And I have a S&W M&P Shield in 9mm that was very cheap to buy.

If the price is right, and the form factor fits your needs, no reason to avoid Kahr.

Thanks man!, Most everything I carry is large also, but was thinking the Kahr would work nicely for my front pocket when something larger wouldn't work

I pocket carried a PM9 for quite a while.  It came out before the CW9 which is about the same thing, just cheapened up a bit to get the price down.

The PM9 is a very good, accurate, and reliable pistol, I got a Solo and I just shoot it better and it pocket carries easier.

Thanks Beemer, so the CM9 is doable for pocket carry it appears. I had Rudy from Black Hills Leather make me a pocket holster for my XDm 3.8 - 9mm. It works, but is just a bit to large unless your wearing cargo pants. It's a stretch wearing jeans to be sure

No doubt it is a pocket full.  The biggest problem is the squared off top of the slide prints big time.

I always pocket carry right front and use a DeSantis Super Fly.  I have leather pocket holsters and gave up using them.  The Super Fly is soft, does not wear the finish on the gun and is made from a sticky material that stays in the pocket for an easy draw.

I have found that most leather pocket holsters have way too much retention for me.  To my thinking, the gun just needs to sit in the holster and not be held in like is necessary for other types of holsters.  JMO

Yep, my only real requirement is that the trigger is completely covered, especially if the weapon does not have an external safety. As for the printing issue, I normally just dress around the gun for that given day. It's kind of a chore, but it works. If a guy can conceal the RIA Ultra, or the P220 Hunter, you can conceal most anything 😂
Thanks again for your thoughts on this.

Get a Sig P365 or a Springfield Hellcat. Still pretty small and capacity of 12/13. More with larger mags. Just my opinion. YMMV I don't know anything about Kahr.

I don't know anything about the Hellcat, but the 365 is a very very good gun, tough to beat in that class of firearms.

Picked up the Cm9 on Friday, what a fun little pocket pistol. As for the photo, not sure how great my shrink job turned out

I have a CM9. Could never get used to the long trigger. Bought a Remington R51 (2nd generation) and shot it great and carried it for a year or two. Then the Sig P365 came out, looked at one and bought it. Have shot the heck out of that pistol, great carry gun. I don't shoot the CM9 or the R51 anymore.
