Yesterday I visited a new for me gun store in Spokane (WA).

Nice shop. Got to lay hands on my new "I want" gun, a STACCATO C2.

Checking out the shop, I see that they have several hundred boxes of various ammo. 9 & 10 was my interest. The 9 was Std Magtech for $17. The 10 was S&B for $21 otd. Not bad prices for a brick & mortor store. Went ahead and bought a box to add to my stores.

This morning I do a couple of searches, Wiki & Gun Deals. The best price for 10mm was $35 PLUS SHIPPING & TAX. 9mm is more per round than 10.

This world is topsey turvey right now ... I get it. But internet prices virtually double what the local store is?

Absolutely, and totally ticks me off, gouging at its finest, just feeling Blessed I have a bunch of all needed calibers for the time being

Yep Ken.

If I find something at a local store thats reasonably priced, I pick up some. Much to my wifes dismay. :D

Its kinda mind boggling when a local store has it at a reasonable price. You'd think that they would "match the market" price. But I'm happy when I find a decent deal.

1 exception is a local, Pacific Northwest chain called Bi-mart. I call them every day and ask for 9mm & 223/5.56. Every couple of weeks they get a shipment in. CCI Blazer is their usual 9 and they also get a couple of 5.56 choices; Federal and Frontier.

Yesterday they had both so I grabbed my wife and her Brother and we went down there. 2 box limit on the 9 netted me 300 rnds of 9mm. This time they had Federal SYNTEC 150 for $15.79.
Also grabbed a 150 pack of the Frontier 5.56 for $67.
