Over the last four weeks (due to being off work for a full knee replacement) I have spent more time than ever scouring this forum. I have not only learned an enormous amount, but have also realized what a cool opportunity this is for learning and camaraderie. Ultimately, it's a real joy being part of a community such as this...Thank You!

Ken. hope all is going well with the healing process for you knee.  One of the blessings here on the 10mm group and forums is the true comradery because we share a passion for a caliber that others frown on or just don't understand its many uses.  In saying that the people here have the utmost respect for each other as we communicate and participate in the discussions.  This is a blessing for all of us and the administrator and moderators where our time is not being utilized trying to calm issues between people.

This is also considered your forum, where you can discuss, share and absorb the things from everyone's input!  We can and do learn for each others' experiences.

I will say when I got into the 10mm guns and ammo, later 1980's we didn't have this sort of resources to compare notes, experiences do's and don'ts.

Anyway, wishing all of you the happiest of upcoming holidays!

Ken, I couldn't agree with you more! About 3 yrs ago I, unexpectedly, went through some pretty major heart surgery. I was very limited during the first couple of months of my recovery. I decided to up my reloading game as that really held my interest. That's how I ended up here. I've belonged to other gun forums, but none as good as this one. The general feeling of goodwill between members and admins just doesn't seem to exist anywhere else. I am really glad I found this forum!

Best of luck in your recovery and Happy Holidays to everyone.

Hope the knee is coming along.  And it is guys like all of you that make this happen.  10mm is the best centimeter not just because of the cartridge, but also the people that shoot it!

I'm certainly glad to be a part of this community.

Thanks Ken and thanks to all of you who make this place so welcoming and informative.

Very much looking forward to when I can start delving into the treasure trove of reloading info here.

Evening folks,
As for my knee (other than being really painful) it's coming along great according to my PT guy. I am a  bit frustrated with the medical profession, and the way in which they have over prescribed pain meds to folks that may not have needed them (The current and ongoing opioid crisis) thus causing legitimate physician's to cut people off their pain meds prematurely. On the upside, I will be med free by Saturday / will be able to start carrying again : ) it would be awful to have to blast someone in a clean shoot, and then have the Sheriff draw blood and find opioids in your system. Once again, Thank you all for making this an exceptional forum.
Have a safe and Blessed Thanksgiving

Glad to hear that the knee is healing.  Here's to a speedy recovery!

This forum is a definitely a wealth of knowledge and I am glad to be a part of the community.

I had meniscus surgery about 6 years back.  It took weeks after the tear before the surgery occurred however in the interim I refused to stop walking on it, as I had to continue working.  That actually helped the healing process believe it or not as according to my Dr. most people do not or can not walk and lose muscle.  I did cave and had to use pain medicine for a couple of days after the surgery.

Happy Thanksgiving fellas!
