The Laugo Arms Alien is indeed a very interesting weapon, but for an estimated MSRP of 5K, it best clean my house and serve me breakfast in bed : )

BEEMER!

I like it!

That is the most innovative firearm that has been introduced since the Glock decades ago.

The very low bore axis and fixed barrel should improve accuracy!  Not sure but the barrel appears to have a hexagonal type bore!
Very interesting and unique!   8)

Absolutely a nice setup, just thinking I should have one in my safe...my wife's response would be, let's remodel the bathroom instead 😩😩😩

I talked to the importer yesterday.  50% down now and delivery April or May.  The parts are all made and just require final assembly and waiting on some accessories.  Nice package that they have put together with Pelican type case, three magazines and both adjustable site top rail and red dot top rail.

I asked about accuracy and was told what amounted to Bullseye type accuracy.  There is a goofy trigger that is set at the factory from 2.25 to 5.5# and must be factory set with spring changes.  That part is in redesign to make it a DIY proposition.

The limited 500 piece run should be sold out this week.

Don't mean to rain on anybodys parade but a low or under mounted barrel is far from new. I have a Steyr 9mm Kurtz I believe is the chambering that has the barrel low mounted. I shoot 380 ammo in it and it runs just fine. The gun is well over 70 years old, maybe older. It's the 1909 model. It doesn't have a lot of muzzle flip but that just means the energy from the recoil is pushed into the hand rather than leveraged into the air. Muzzle flip is not always a bad thing. I can put an original Thompson Center Contender with original grips on it that pushed all of the recoil into the hand. The barrel is a 10" 30-30 and I've seen grown men cry after shooting it. The Herrett grips took a lot of the recoil out of the gun but at the cost of barrel flip. Most generally I won't let anybody shoot the gun anymore due to the SSK trigger and hammer package. The trigger is 6oz, meaning don't touch it unless you're ready. I used it to play the silhouettes game with it years back. But there's nothing new about a low mount barrel with the recoil springs on top.
In regards to the barrel being fixed to the frame. A lot of the Colt Ace replicas have the barrel as part of the frame. So far as I can tell, it certainly didn't help accuracy any. None have shot near as good the Kimber 22LR Conversion I have or my brothers Marvel Conversion.
But being something "new", of course there will be a line of folks wanting it. Hey, they even sold a lot of Yugos when they first came out too. That it's a limited supply also adds to the demand. That sales tactic is older than all of us put together. I guess we'll find out how good they are after they've been around a while.

The one gun I can relate it to is the HK P7.  The bore axis is quite low on it and because of the weight of the gun recoil is easily handled.  This is a 9mm, not a 30-30.  I have a 375 Win barrel for my Contender and I have not shot it much.

The barrel on the P7's is also fixed and if you have ever shot on you know the accuracy is exceptional.

Accuracy is outstanding with the P7, but I hate the squeeze cocker system though.

The Alien is also a race gun, speed is important.

Archon Type B is what it looks like to me.  Except the Archon is a $900 gun.
