I just ordered one from Optics plant $274 shipped. It's going on my G40 10mm.  Currently I have been using the Burris fastfire 3 it's ok, but not as robust as the 508T.  Anyway just wondering if anyone was using one and what you think of it.

Twice the weight, wider than the slide, have to take it off to replace the battery-- I wanted one but it has too many hits in the minus column for me

Hmmm so in 10 years maybe 5 let's say I have to take it off to replace the battery lol twice the weight NOT..more like. .026oz more the width .015 I think I can live with that. Try dropping the Burris from shoulder height bet it wouldn't last one drop.

So, given it's still *Coming Soon* from Holosun's website, it's unlikely anyone has one yet. I love my HS503GUs, and if this rises to the same level - good choice. Not sure I'd put the 508T on a pistol, personally I'd favor compactness for that use unless the circle dot feature is top of your list of features.
"The meek shall inherit the Earth" is a mistranslation. Properly translated it would say: "Those who have swords and know how to use them, but keep them sheathed, shall inherit the Earth". Carry every day.

Lets face it the G40 is not pretty...I have seen the 507c on a G40 and it didn't look out of place the 508T is the same foot print as the RMR. I like the battery life and the option to switch to circle to just dot and circle with dot. Sounds like the sight has some good features and built like a tank.

You should  look up the specs again, Burris fastfire 3 is .9 oz, and last time I looked on holsuns web page they had the 508t listed as 1.8oz, looks like the dropped it just a bit. Aslo, the titanium is just the hood on it, the rest is still just the 507 aluminum version with a titanium hood on it. If you drop it on the solar panel I'm sure you'll be sending it back for repairs.

On a reciprocating slide I want less weight and a slimmer profile, i also have personally never dropped my pistol before but i suppose things could happen . There are some as low as .6 oz now that are polymer...remember that firearms are made from aluminum and polymer now so its hard to use the "aluminum and polymer sights will break arguement.

It has some nice features that others dont , i liked that it has the 2moa dot, the circle part really doesnt do anything for me, i have shot a 507 and dont care for the 32moa circle, it washes out the sight picture as it seems blurry to me-- some people like it for sd,, but most shooting targets and hunting just use the dot.

B.D.U. actually had them in stock for a really short time as I got an "in stock" notice , but when I went to go see if they were available, they were already oos--they had them for $269.

I'm not bashing the 508t, I just think its "marketing hype" that titanium is better-- the 407 and 507 have proven themselves over time so I'm sure it's exactly the same, just lighter due to the ti hood.

I can't make a comparison yet.  But I also ordered one.  I do run a 507 on my 9mm PCC using the included Picatinny mount and the 508 will be riding an American Tactical FXH-45 (aka my plastic fantastic 1911).

There are several YouTube reviewer presentations.  The YouTubers rate them favorably and my experience with Holosun has been positive.

OP has impressive shopping skills.  My $296 shipped from Optics Planet was good enough to earn my trigger pull.

Tried to like the Holosun products until I read their restrictive warranty.  Will stick with the Burris no questions asked warranty on my Fastfire III's.

I don't know much about it until I have it in my hands...but this video sold me on it and the price was right to try it out.

The 508T is a solid piece of Titanium not just a hood over a 507 thats straight from Holosun.
