Grand Power p40 update

So the last three or four trips to the range with my GP the safety lever kept coming out. Usually less than 3/16" and I would just push it back in place. Knowing something was wrong I called Eagle imports and they told me to call Colorado gun works. 
Short version of this is that the service center that did the mag drop repair , incorrectly disassembled the pistol and broke it last year. The polymer frame was not repairable and now I have a brand new replacement.
CGW told me they would make sure the mag drop fix was done before shipping the new pistol to me. Now hoping for a warm day to get to the range.
