Are the SFL & SFD showing 83?  Most I have looked at were 84's

No, they are both 84's.

Beautiful pistols, I hopefully will have enough money one day to get one for myself.

I know the shadow was probably watching this auction and probably several others here.

This is really crazy, at least $2500 to $3000 over what it should bring.

You could pick up 3 NIB Les Baers for that price.

Here is a Viced Marksman Special with box and accessories going way higher than what I think it should.

I would think that the plating would detract from the price but maybe not.

The Miami Vice Bren was marked Bren Ten 10mm but actually fired 45 ACP blanks.  This is 45 all the way.

Is there a source for 10mm BT mags now, or has there been in recent years?  I heard there were ways to make other mags work in the Bren years ago, but haven't heard much about that particular issue in years.  I can't see spending a ton of cash for a gun you can't get mags for, every pistol I own has at least five, and my 1911 mags run to about 50.   If they're available, what do they cost?
Anyone who actually believes Joe Biden got 81 Million votes is either delusional, an idiot, or a Democrat.  And likely all three.

See the price of the guns...Well, they didn't come with magazines when they were new due to the costs... :P

JK!

In all seriousness, I don't know of any source of magazines, and you are therefore at the mercy of the market when buying.  Smart sellers list them on auction type websites and make pretty good money on them, or they used to.

Recent auctions on Gunbroker have all closed with the magazine actually selling, usually for between $200 and $250.

But, here is another reality.  These guns in decent shape go for $4,000 and up.  Parts aren't available.  Not many guys are gonna shoot them at all, let alone shoot them enough to worry about having an extra magazine.

These are collector safe-queens.

The only mags available as sqlbullet days are on the auctions sights and tied up in collections.  The collectors do let some out every so often.  There are also a lot of mags that just don't work also.  Many magazines are not marked with caliber and they do not work for 10mm.  The 10mm mags are marked 10mm.

Ther original mags were made by mec gar and were supposed to fire both 45 acp and 10mm.  The test mags worked.  When the production magazines were delivered, they would not work for 10mm so guns were shipped without mags.  These guns were prepaid so they were happy to get the gun without the mag.  Others put deposits down and got nothing later on.
