Anything available similar to the Nosler 135gr 10mm JHP, but less expensive?

Hey Folks,
I would like to start loading some lightweight 10mm JHP's. Any thoughts on who offers a 135gr or lighter bullet in 10mm other than Nosler?

The only thing I can find lighter than the Nosler 135gr is Lehigh Defense's Xtreme Defense weighing in at 115gr, but costs considerably more than I'm willing to pay. I'm starting to think the 9x25 Dillon is the way to go for the extra fun / lightweight hand loads, providing I can find a barrel that I like

Thanks, so far in my limited searching, Nosler's 135gr is the best deal at 250 for $39.00, with Sierra 135's coming in at $26.00 for 100

Those Nosler 135s run pretty fast with 800-X. If you don't mind dropping-and-trickling charges, worth a look!

Ken, take a look at the Rainier 135gr HP. On  coyote, I see no difference out of a 40SW than using a normal jacketed HP. The bullet works. My 40 Baby Eagle all steel, semi compact, is my carry piece. I do not feel at a disadvantage carrying Rainier HPs over any other bullet for carry ammo. Full house loads recoil like a 9mm so it's a real pleasure to shoot....and shoot a lot. So far, I've not been able to get any 135gr bullet to group tight enough out of the R1 Long Slide 10mm.

Thanks Trapper, who do you get yours from? Only looked briefly, but all I'm seeing in 135 is flat points, plus where are you finding load data for that weight?

Well dip! Looks like Rainier quit making the 135gr HP and only make the flat now. I guess it's a good thing I loaded up 2 years ago. I have several boxes, 1000 count, still on the shelves. I guess I'll be using these sparingly now.
Rainier says on their website that any of their pistol bullets are to be loaded using jacketed data for the same weight. You can find data at most any of the powder makers.

FWIW, in my 40SW I'm loading 7.2grs AA5 at 1.115 OAL. And 8.0 grs HS6 at 1.115 OAL, all using the 135 Rainier HP. I wouldn't expect anything different with the flat tip. I haven't spent much time trying them in the 10mm mostly because it's been so hot here. But since it's suppose to cool of next week, I'll probably play with them some.

FWIW, if light and deadly out of a 10mm are the goal, try 9.5grs CFE Pistol under a Lehigh 115gr at 1.250" OAL. Per the book for a 5" barrel that gets you 1500'ps. I'm assuming the 6" long slide will add another 50'ps to mine.....maybe. Groups are right at an inch from bags at 25 yds.
