Testing Parabellum Research Ammo and MAC Ammo

   In the past I always did everything out of the Match and a few with the 6" Hunter. Should I stay with that or would everyone be more interested in the 5" Razorback results?

I will be back from Jamaica/Wedding in a week and will video these.

I think the Match is a good gun to use.  The 4.75" barrel is pretty representative of what people tend to carry in 10mm  You can extrapolate from there if needed.

Speaking of the Match,im wipeing new grease off my new Match 10mm as I write.Im not going to talk it up till a range report is reported.However,i got to get adjusted to the S/A.Im a D/A type,so it's a change.One thing is the mag,it's for sure a black follower and more stiff as opposed to those red followers.We will see.Reading off slide,lettering is stateing"Combat Sport 10".Is that common on the Match?Henning Guide Rod enroute as well as 18lb spring.Keeping this regulated to close to Norma Specs.Not intrested in Super Nuke stuff.Im aware it can shoot the nuke,thank's to Intercooler and his devoted and undivided time spent testing.Gun reminds me of my .45 Witness from the 90's,just lighter.One thing,the grip's are plastic.I was more familar with the rubber..Only negative at moment.Also,i ordered from Midway the 15 rnd mag adverstised,it's a Mec-Gar,the same with gun purchace.One thing i wanted to add.This particular gun is rising in price.

Mine says "Match" on the side in a script.  Works fine for me, as most just glance at it and think it says "Mitch", which is the name I am know by in real life.

EAA I think plays mix and match from time to time.  I hope yours is as solid as mine.

Recieved my Henning Cone Guide Rod and 18lb Wolff Spring.At first,man was it a tight attempt to get the rod and spring to put in.Had to use a little muscle but she went in.The factory spring with Henning was a breeze.The mags fit well,one from Eaa the other from Midway,both new Mec-Gar K10's.Will replace fire pin block with the Henning.

I hope to get these tested tomorrow. Parabellum 165gr. rated at 1200 FPS. Kind of different boxing which I actually like, all new Starline brass, CCI primers and looks like XTP bullets? Looks like decent ammo!

Went testing trying to get it in ASAP before the heat hit. I was a sweaty mess as today is one of our hottest so far, 90 degrees with 72% humidity. I was steady drinking water and wiping sweat with a rag, but did them all.

PBR Ammo 165gr. JHP (Match ) 1364, 1344, 1351, 1382, 1371. Average = 1362.4 FPS/ 679.90 LBS  My Match seems to really love 165's! The rating is 1300 FPS, so it exceeded and is real 10mm.
PBR Ammo 165gr. JHP (Razorback) 1358, 1385, 1349, 1356, 1369. Average = 1363.4 FPS/ 680.90 LBS  Maybe not the sweet bullet weight for the Razorback.
PBR Ammo 165gr. JHP (Hunter) 1428, 1464, 1441, 1418, 1446. Average = 1439.4 FPS/ 758.92 LBS  Picked up nicely with the 6" barrel!
PBR Ammo 200gr. FMJ (Match) 1065, 1101, 1115, 1075, 1134. Average = 1098 FPS/ 535.28 LBS  Not the strongest out there... not bad though and real 10mm.

MAC Ammo 165gr JHP (Match) 1324, 1271, 1329, 1270, 1310. Average = 1300.8 FPS/ 619.80 LBS  The rating is 1300 FPS, so it met claims and is real 10mm.

All the brass looked nice with no issues or pressure signs.

PBR Ammo 158gr JSP (GP100)  1314, 1359, 1290, 1289. Average = 1313 FPS/ 604.69 LBS
American Eagle 158gr JSP (GP100) 1276, 1299, 1315, 1285. Average = 1293.75 FPS/ 587.09 LBS

I always give the good with the bad and one of the PBR .357's had a rupture. It was Federal nickel plated brass reloaded. My suggestion is buy the new stuff. It didn't hurt my GP100 but in something else, who knows. Kind of like the Armscor brass splits...
