Today I decided to trade in the XDM 10 towards a Super Redhawk, 10mm of course. I don't say this often when comparing Glock to Springfield XDM, but I actually like the Glock 20 better. So I decided to get rid of it. My ol' man had told me about a little shop a little over an hours drive from me that had the SRH. He told me the price ($755 +tax, new) and it got me thinking. This guy had all the versions, Blackhawk, GP100 in various barrel lengths,  and Match Champion. It was nice to handle them all before making a decision. I was torn between the SRH and Blackhawk. The Super Redhawk won. It will make a nice companion to my SRH 44 Mag. I've got to say this thing shoot great. I put 60 rounds through it on the way home. 42 Magtech 180 grain (factory) and my last 18 of Hornady 180 XTP that I loaded.  I love it already and do not regret the decision one bit. And after seeing saleen's and gandog's posts, I am looking forward to this revolver even more. I will top mine with a Bushnell Trophy since I already have one.

I need to hit the bench. I have a feeling this is going to be one hungry critter.

I just picked one up myself. I've never been a fan of the Redhawk line, it just didn't do anything for me. Maybe because a S&W was my first. Now I love Blackhawks!  But once I heard about the SRH in 10mm it's been eating at me.

I've been looking at scopes and almost ordered one,  but I'm going to hold off since I don't shoot my scoped handguns as it is.

NOW, the GP 100 in 10mm is eating at me.
