Hello Ladies & Gentlemen!  First post!
I fell in love with the 10mm around 1990 when the agency I worked for adopted the S&W 1006 for a few years.  Then life happened and I have done without.  Until I fondled a Ruger SR1911 in 10mm at Cabelas this week.  It went home with me and here I am.

I actually started a compensated 10 build years ago and amongst the debris was one Wilson eight round blue mag and three nine round Chip McCormick magazines. One of the CMC mags lost its baseplate over the years. The three remaining mags work splendidly in the Ruger.

What are the thoughts on the various after market mags available for the 1911 pattern 10mm?  I'd like nine or ten rounders if possible.  This gun will be used for hunting, IDPAish shoots and even EDC in cooler weather.

Thanks!

My favorites are Tripp Cobra's.

I've had good luck with the new Wilson Combats. Metal follower and stronger body and spring than the older ones.

I love Tripp cobras. They work in all my guns. McCormick and Mec-gar have been great for me also. I have 2 Wilson combat that don't lock back on my STI nitro 10 but work besides that.
