9mm mags

This question going to be a old one and there will be 1000 answers. I am needing a 9mm mag for a 1911 that I just built. The problem is my rounds are nose diving. This is on second and third round in the mag. The only mag I have at this time is a 38 Super mag and its a MecGar. Thanks everyone.

My go to answer for mag problems is a stronger mag spring.  Once that doesn't work, I start scratching my head...

That would be my suggestion also.

P.S. 38 Super is not 9mm (9x19mm). Maybe the 9mm won't work in a 38 Super magazine.
