Hey I was wondering if "The shadow" was interested or had access to these rounds to pull down to see what makes them tick. I am assuming that they have the Leverevoution powder from hodgon? They reason for a pull down is I hear they can be hard to get accuracy from the  160 ftx's. I want to try to straight up try to copy this load. Might just pull one apart my self and post the findings we will see.

Leverevoution powder is available to the handloader as made by Hodgdon for the Hornady projects.  However rifle powders can be harder to identify...

I'd do a documentation if I had one of the cartridges...If you do pull one down, take your time, be sure the kinetic puller is clean inside.
Tapping it against the end grain of a 4x4 wooden block cushions the puller, but try to hold it so the strike doesn't bounce. (dead blow hammer so to speak)   You don't have to hit it so hard to get the bullet out on the first rap either.  Watch for bullet movement, and try to get the last tap to have the bullet just drop free softly.  That keeps the powder from bouncing all over.  I work over a clean piece of typing paper while retrieving the bullet as I pour powder into the scale pan.  This is in case any kernels of powder spill, they can be easily seen and retrieved.

You can follow the various measurements like listed in the documentations as a guide.

When taking pictures, there is what is called the close distance of the camera lens, Macro is a feature of the lens that can be used.  It is the closest point to which it will still focus when working to get a close-up shot.  This takes some practice as you try for a close-up of the powder.
