Told ya, and watch we get nothing back in return.

Fox News host Bill O'Reilly on Tuesday night dinged the National Rifle Association for its statement opposing President Obama's new executive orders regarding background checks, arguing that the government should conduct background checks on everyone who purchases guns.

"The NRA and gun owners should be reasonable. The FBI should background check anyone buying a firearm in America. That just makes sense," O'Reilly said on his show. "If you are paranoid and believe the government is stockpiling information so they can come to your house and take your guns, that's your problem, your problem. But the government has an obligation to enhance public safety."

Liberals could have not said it any better.

Yep.  The response should have been negotiations.  Give us reciprocity and other concessions.

Never liked that smug guy. Blowhard from outside Philly and know it all. RINO type like the rest on Fox. And he says the (GOVT) has an obligation to enhance safety. Didn't Reagan warn when the govt says "were here to help". No, the govt does not as per SCOTUS. Law Enforcement is not obligated. As we know, we defend ourselves.

NE RINO. Not for true freedom in any sense of the word.

Well, thank God they closed that pesky loophole - it appears NOW that we can all breath a sigh of relief and go forward knowing that no more guns will fall into the wrong hands.

These people are worthless - we all know the outcome will not change.  However, I guess libs will sleep a lot better now knowing at LEAST they did something vs. nothing.  Yep - lighter conscience.  I for one am glad that people are in charge who REALLY know what they are doing (looking for a icon here of someone throwing up....).

There is no difference between the Republican party and the Democrat party. This also goes for the media organizations that support those two groups.

O'ReallyLoudMouth may call himself a conservative and he may lean that way; but what comes from his mouth doesn't reflect it often times. He reminds me of some women/men who think/act on their emotions instead of brain cells. But he is on TV to generate ratings......so his main focus is that.
Some days it's just good to be lucky; rather than just good looking!

Billo calls himself a registered Independence Party member.

NYS is one of about 4 states that allow cross endorsement of parties. That means a R or D can run on that parties line along with Conservative, Green and Working Families.

In NYS they endorse the D governor and other statewide candidates. This is because you need a number of votes in a governor's race to keep power. Locally, they are a de facto party of the GOP along with the Conservative Party. (For the most part)

This is why the GOP does well in off year local elections. The D will carry line 1, but the R will carry lines 2,3,4 and get more of a combined vote to win.

So Billo does vote I line, but that line has the Republican candidate on it when he votes.

Its semantics but factual.

Well see I missed that because I do not listen or watch that idiot.

O Reilly has always been a traitor, and an unmitigated fool. Even Sean Hannity has come over towards the light, but neocon O Reilly, never!
