I saw some listed on CTD and was wondering if anyone has tired it out?

In the 10mm loads specifically, they are simply too weak for me to really care.  Certainly nothing to sneeze at, but with Underwood ammo available...
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

Ok, been thinking of trying the Underwood stuff since there is no more Swamp Fox ammo

I was kinda intrigued by the CorBon hunting load too, it is a jacketed bullet, flat point exposed lead, correct (kinda semi-wadcutter-ish)?  They were pretty expensive, I think $40/20 rounds.  For hunting, the Underwood 200grain XTP looks like the ticket, at a LOT better price.

I know handloading is not for everyone, but it is very benificial to be able to put your own combinations together.  The late Mike Willard of SwampFox did share some information about the loads he was selling.  He knew that handloaders helped him as much as he helped them by testing under different circumtances.

Underwood does produce a great product line also.  :D

I would call it a truncated cone profile, not a SWC profile.  All wadcutters, semi or full, have a full diameter driving band at the shoulder for cutting a perfect hole in paper.

If you have never shot targets with one it is a sight to see.  Looks like you went after the target with a hole punch.

Box says 180gr bonded jacket soft point 1300 fps. It had 2 postive reviews. $32.99/20 box

It was CorBon but not sure what bullets they are using.
On a site note, I was looking for something else and came across some Grizzly branded ammo. www.grizzlycartridge.com They have a 200gr jhp listed at 1200 fps also.w

corbon has the 200 RNPN which is basically just a harder FMJ rd

I did a test on the corbon 200gr RNPN vs the underwood 200 TMJ (total metal jacket)  - the 200TMJ did better - the 200gr RNPN started to deform with slight jacket spliting.  The 200 TMJ did not.    I was shooting through some very hard and thick sch 80 PVC caps.  How that relates to animals etc...well can tell you the 200 TMJ is harder and didn't deform even though it was going faster!

Corbon 180 BCSP - bullet is made in house by corbon - Velocity says 1300 but I usually get 1240-1275.  Feeds nice. Expands great...very very wide mushroom (.70-.74 if I remember right), but didn't go as far as I'd like.  guess I'd probably opt for the underwood 180 or 200xtp.

FYI - when I did my last order Kevin said he was working on a 220gr hardcast 10mm.
