On the day (long weekend) we set aside to remember and honor those who've fallen while in service of our nation; I'd also extend a sincere THANK YOU to all current and former members of our Nation's armed services!!!  THANKS again, to all for your service and sacrafice to this country.  Each and every citizen of this nation owes you a great debt.

On Memorial Day, the flag of the United States is raised briskly to the top of the staff and then solemnly lowered to the half-staff position, where it remains only until noon. It is then raised to full-staff for the remainder of the day.

The half-staff position remembers the more than one million men and women who have given their lives in service of our country.

At noon, their memory is raised by the living, who resolve not to let their sacrifice be in vain, but to rise up in their stead and continue the fight for liberty and justice for all.

This second point is the most important, as without it all of those sacrifices are in vain.

Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?
