That's a new offering, I can see the belt is being used as a filler and the groove is locking the base together.

Very unique and highly interesting... They must have gotten the memo about all the jacket separations from the standard (and even bonded) Golden Sabers! That said, I do so enjoy a good Golden Saber... Just something about that jacket design and the awesome wave it cuts when it's plowing through gel. Can't wait to see the pull-down on these!
