Unfortunately I don't think this will get better anytime soon.

One is not forced to read anything. One can choose at the moment. Hears my take. A fraud Gov't, a fraud economic system and we are not free. But we are not forced.

"News journalism" should not have a slant. It is supposed to report events in an unbiased factual method. Anything else is a work of fiction. The moment you add a Bias, you are changing the facts of the report to meet your bias. You invariably leave out something tangible. This Country Needs to go back to the Ethics of Journalism that prevented News Seevices from reporting in a biased manner. It used to be, if a paper wanted to have an article with spin, it had to be marked as an Opinion Piece. Sadly in today's Journalism, even a simple report of a fender bender must be considered suspect because someone will have spun the story in such a way as to garner "Clicks/Likes/Shares" etc.

Msnbc is little more than state run media/propaganda for the whitehouse, but don't worry, more people watch Frazier reruns than cnn and msnbc combined.

Remember, the media is a company that wants to make a profit.

In order for them to make a profit and distinguish them from other media outlets is to be the most dramatic. Remember, most of the population thrives on the drama more than the facts. Therefore, the media wants the drama so the can have more viewers, thus allowing them to charge more for advertising. That's the basic way; there are some other avenues in which the media can 'work' with advertising agencies to help out; but that is the basic jest.

So bottom line...remember, the media is not an unbiased, informative outlet....they need the dollars and will do what it takes to get them.

Some days it's just good to be lucky; rather than just good looking!

Agreed.

Very few people anymore actually do "reporting."  It is more interpretation and editorializing.  I listen to conservative talk radio as much as I can and am realizing even they are becoming repetitious.  I guess that's a lot better than pushing a B.S. liberal agenda against one's will.
