Has anyone ever used this brass ? Berrys Bullets has it for sale at $27.50 for a 100. This is expensive to me but wondering if it is worth the money ?

Someone ask about that on GlockTalk, It is probably made by Star-Line or JAG under contract with ProGrade's headstamp.
To get your own headstamp you pay a setup fee and purchase 100K
Here is the reply when I wrote Star-Line about getting 9x25Dillon Brass
QuoteThe minimum quantity for a run of 9x25 Dillon with a small primer pocket would be 100,000 pieces. The price would be $136/per 1,000 and there would be a $750 tooling fee for the headstamp (What the headstamp reads would be your choice). This would be straight, un-necked brass.

It should be good to go, but everything has a limit...

Considering the results I got from the Prograde ammo you should be fine!

I purchase some Star Line brass yesterday from Midway. I had to purchase the nickel plated stuff to get it. But it was still cheaper than what you're talking about

Thanks everyone. I'm waiting for Berrys new bullets to come out and just wanted new brass to load them in. Hopefully Starline will have some new soon. I cant see paying all that extra for the same brass. I have plenty of used brass. When I get new hollow points and find a good load I like to load the rest in new brass and save them for a rainy day.

Was the nickel ok ? or did you have to trim it ?

sstewart

I'll get back to you on that. Haven't used it yet.

sstewart

No trim. Picked 10 cases and
7 where .988
2 where .987
1 was .9875

What was the diameter at the ejection rim?  0.4215-0.4220" is what I find with the Star Line product...

Thanks. Starline is taking orders now but you have to buy 500. They no longer sell them buy the 100's.
