One day and back.

It's higher so can't wait to zero it and see what I need for the Dawson fiber-optic front.

Hey that looks good, you think you will need a taller front sight? ???

I will see soon. It shot low enough that this may be just perfect. If not, Dawson can custom the new fiber front.

First trip to the range in 2013. Managed to get the 1006 sighted in and now I can wear out the center of the paper. Next step is to get the fiber-optic front ordered up!

Sounds like your dialed in!  Good luck with the front sight!

I had some decisions to make when ordering today. My choices were .160 or .135 tall. Best I could measure of the stock 1006 sight was .140-.145. When I zeroed it yesterday I found it seemed like I had to crank it up a little more than I would like to hit center. I told the Tech let's do the .135 and maybe (hopefully) I will just have to crank the rear sight down a little bit from where it is now. Should be here Friday!

Picked it up this evening. I think this is the only 1006 with this setup so no copying  ;D

Just have to dial it in again with the new front!

Nice looking bore on that pistola.

I fired a 1006 years ago. I should have bought one when they still made them, and I still had the money.  ;)

They are out there. When I purchased mine the place had several NIB so I couldn't pass it up.
