QuoteI need to phone Kevin and see if I can get the load on these. Things possibly change with the bullet or is this scaled back?

200gr Gold Dot with XTP load Limited Pro 4.75" 1177, 1167, 1162, 1155, 1159, 1150. Average = 1161.66 FPS/ 599 LBS. I'm not complaining because they are pleasant to shoot and right on the edge of what I consider real 10mm at 600lbs. It may actually be perfect for this bullet as I don't know how they would do in the 1250 FPS range.

Why is this "not for the public?"

It looks like a good load.

Intercooler

No 200gr Gold Dots other then these pulled ones some of us lucked into.

Not the 200gr Gold Dots. Those were pulled from Police .40 rounds and never offered to the public. Those who asked got a NO from what I gathered.

Yeah, I saw them loaded for police in the 200 grain Gold Dot .40. I would like to know which department issues these? I think the 200 Gold dot would be an excellent 10mm load at right around 1200, or even the 1166 Shadow got.

What a shame we can't get them.

The 1166 fps was Intercooler's tested velocity, these were loaded by Underwood for him.  When I get to test I'll post the results as well.  ;)

Oh okay. Thanks for the clarification.  8)

That bullet looks exactly like, and probably is, the tear-down bullets from RMR. I have some. Does Underwood stock these, or did someone send him the bullets?

Also, to anyone using these bullets, a quick wipe with some mineral spirits removes that black sealant, completely. This is essential for consistent retention pull, pressure control and performance.

These were the RMR pulled 200gr GD bullets that Intercooler sent to Kevin to load in new Star Line brass...

ALL the 200gr GDHP's I shot into wetpack shed there petals , weight retention was decent at 190gr +/- but the shank was all that was left to penetrate. I tried velocities from 1050-1220 fps.
