Very nicely done.  As I was perusing the thread  the other day I was hoping someone with a bunch of brass fired in a common firearms would do exactly this.

Some of the JAG & Star Line  brass was fired 5 times at hot levels, Measurements as taken from fired from the S&W1006 factory barrel.

All of the brass was run through the LEE FCD as a "Pass Thru" sizing, then in the RCBS carbide sizer without primer removal, then run into the case neck expander as prepared for loading, where I remeasured the volume again.

Then I worked out the average of both...some cases were shorter than the 0.9880" what we see as in new cases.

I also added some info for the 9x25Dillon capacity as necked down... :D

The change between unsized and sized volume would certainly seem to indicate that starline brass is softer than the others.  And the extra weight of the starline would indicate thicker walls and/or web.  Since brass work hardens, I prefer it a little soft up front as I feel it buys me more life before the case mouth splits.  But I have no empirical data to back that feeling up.
