M&P10 4" Holster Option.

I tried my new 4" M&P10 in a Vedder Light Tuck holster designed for my gen 1 M&P9 full size. It's almost a perfect fit. The only difference is the slide stops stick out just a little farther on the 10mm. It is just a tad harder to reholster one handed. Other than that the fit is perfect. Retention is identical.

That is good to know.  Also great is if someone is buying to dedicate the holster to a 10mm gun, a little time with a heat gun or very carefully with a torch and you can touch up those areas that aren't a perfect fit.  Kydex can be spot heated and fitted.  Easy to do if you are "close" like this sounds. 

Not sure that will work for Graybeard since it sounds like the holster is shared between two guns.

Great minds think alike! That is exactly what I plan to do. All that is needed is slight flare outward where the slide stop contacts the rim of the holster. There will be no negative impact on the use for the M&P9. The M&P10 will then enter without resistance. The rest of the holster fits like it was made for the 4" M&P10.

Edit: 2 minutes with a hairdryer and some mini bent needle nose pliers did the trick. This holster now works perfectly for both M&Ps.
