DoubleTap dissection?

DoubleTap Old and NewSo we have seen proof it doesn't perform like old. Has anyone emptied the powder out of them to see what's up?

My old has been carefully unloaded in the high pressure fashion and I never bought the new.  Switched to Buffalo Bore.  At the end of this summer, I am going to handloads for carry.  Yeah, I have read about all the risks.  At the end of the day, I have to ask, how the DA can prove that the Starline brass on the ground is from Buffalo Bore and sqlbullet's press.

Not that I would lie, just that if they wanted to make issue of it, they could argue that my factory ammo was handloads.  I load lots of starline brass.

Better yet, next time you're at the range, grab a couple handsful of misc. brass.  Keep an assortment in your pocket.  If you ever get into an "incident", toss it all around.  Make sure your prints aren't on any of them.  By the time anyone figures anything out, you'll be in Cabo with a cool beverage and a hot lady (and your wife, if she's cool like that).
