S&W 1006?

My S&W 1006 had an ejection problem. It was after  a close inspection I found the extractor  claw was damaged.  I replaced the S&W extractor and spring with new parts. The 1006 will fire about 20 times and extract the spent rounds. After the 20 rounds it begins to fail extractions. I have polished the chamber no improvement. I expect the new extractor needs some alterations. Does anyone here offer some advise?
