I looked into the HTA Hi-Point setup but was concerned about gas blowback in a bullpup being a lefty.. Looks rad though and for $500 total can't be beat. As for mags any .45 aftermarket mag and drum can be made to work with a little feed lip tweaking.. the double stack to single stack/feed is hi-points downfall.. But then again HTA said they would address this with a proprietary magazine if they sold enough stocks.

Ronin if you don't mind me asking whats your HP/HTA setup weigh?
I'm left handed.  No gas blowback from the HTA setup.  Also, the brass deflector does an excellent job of keeping spent casings from hitting me in the face.  Weight-wise it's a little over 7lbs.  Not light, not heavy, but in the compact bullpup stock, it feels heavier than it is.  Once it's in your shoulder, however, no issues.
My only gripe is the trigger.  The stock I got does not have the adjustable trigger.  Apparently HTA stopped selling them because people kept screwing with it and making the trigger worse.  The trigger on my Hi Point wasn't great in stock form.  Putting it in the HTA stock didn't improve anything.  If anything it probably made the trigger heavier.  I'm planning to get the MCARBO trigger spring kit for it and see if that helps.
Overall it's a fun range toy.  I may use it in a PCC match at some point.  It could definitely be used for HD/SD, but I have other guns for that.

Ok so I went to the HTA site and I see nothing about the bull pup stock for 10mm or did you buy the stock for the .45 ACP?
An idiot is someone who does something stupid repeatedly hoping for a different outcome each time.

Hey Y'all,

Hi-Point lists the weight of their 1095TS as 7 lbs. on their product page.

FN lists the weight of their PS90 Standard as 6.28 lbs.

IWI lists the weight of their Tavor X95 in 9mm as 7.9 lbs.

If the High Tower stock brings the combined weight to mid 7 lbs., I would consider it very competitive.

Also, BENTENMM, you mentioned a combined price of $500.00. ( You then mentioned .45 cal ammo.) I am looking for a 1095TS, and everywhere
I am looking at says that once they are back in stock, that the price will be right at $400.00 for the Hi-Point. Is there a deal I am missing somewhere?

$327.94 Shipped. Just back at the end of Dec. 2019 you could find them on Gunbroker shipped for $250. Occasionally I've seen a dealer on armslist offer them for $325 shipped. I've seen them on local forums here in GA for $200 quite a few times, barely shot. Seems they are demanding more money now.. But when I was considering the 1095 and HT stock it was $500 for both shipped and a free local FFL transfer.

Keep this bookmarked if you're not eager to get one and perhaps when tombston tactical gets some back in stock.. $288.99 ships free. Not sure about tax.

If anyone is still looking for one I picked one up off GoneBroker a couple months ago from The Old Western Scrounger, they were selling off the "Salesmen's Demo" guns for $300 so I had to snag one.  (They had HUNDREDS, might still have some.) It came with one mag (so I bought four more and a foregrip) and so far it's been a fun range toy.  I took off the stock sights and replaced them with a Bushnell red dot, the next step is to tear it completely down (again) and make it into a Stormtrooper Special, I'm just enough of a sixty-year old geek to think that's cool.

I also found a deal on those "SinterFire" bullets from Midway, they were listed as a New Product, and the introductory price was $75/1000, so I bought a couple thousand to play with in the 40 and the Ten.  They're lead-free, light, and I can run them like little greased piggies without boosting pressures into the stupid zone.  I seem to recall when those bullets were introduced they were pretty spendy, apparently they weren't big sellers and we reloaders get to clean up the scraps of someone's failed idea.  The cool part is that we can run charging drills right up to the steel targets with little risk of getting peppered, I never cared for the taste of hot zinc!  ::)
Anyone who actually believes Joe Biden got 81 Million votes is either delusional, an idiot, or a Democrat.  And likely all three.

Might want to check some published load data on those frangibles. They are long for their weight, and if you use load data for the listed bullet weight, you're going to loose eyes or teeth or fingers, or all three.

I'm bidding on one of these on gunbroker right now. And its a local shop too so I can just go pick it up and not have to pay shipping. I'm leading the auction at $280. Not a hi-point fan but these have been out a couple years now, and I've seen nothing but positive reviews. I've watched YouTube video of them being dragged through mud, rivers, foliage and they just shoot. I've never been into Ar-15's and wanted something 10mm in a rifle/carbine platform for the pending zombie apocalypse/Civil war/Chinese invasion etc.
