I'm toying with buying the xdm osp 10mm, was wondering if anyone has one that they put a compensator on.

Not sure I need a comp but might try one just to see the difference in perceived recoil

If you have one, please post what brand comp, a pic on the pistol and your thoughts on it (likes, dislikes)

I have heard that with some comps you need to run a lighter recoil spring to get the slide to function correctly, but some guys put a heavier spring on their 10mms so maybe a heavier spring wouldn't be needed?

Just thinking out loud and wanted to see if any others had experimented with this before

Been thinking about it. I've also been thinking about a suppressor.

Totally no help.

If you decide to go this way, I would like to know how it's working out

found a direct thread on from springer precison--but its OOS, they told me they have no idea when they will be ding their next run---they said their 45 version would fit ( as its the same thread pitch) but it may not work quite as well due to the larger hole size for the 45 cal over the 40/10mm--I'm holding off for a while to see if I can find more options or info
They told me to start with the stock spring and then go stronger until it does not cycle correctly--sounds like a canned response to me

Is thread different from Glock? Lone wolf has one.
