Was wondering what barrel length you bought and how the gun has been shooting so far with both 10mm and .40 S&W...

Has there been any bullet pull problem with heavier loads and what have you been getting for velocity..

Thanks...Bob

I have one of the Ruger Buckeye Sports .38-40/10mm Blackhawks. It has the 7.5" barrel. I bought it new in '90 and haven't put 500 rounds through it! I bought it primarily as a collectible so I never bothered to shoot it over a chrono.

Anyway, though I don't shoot .40 S&W through it, I have never had an issue with bullet pull in either 10mm or .38-40. Are you having a bullet setback issue using the taper crimp?

Thanks for the reply...

No, I don't own one yet but one of the 4 5/8" stainless guns is on my bucket list...  I do have a GP-100 MC and have not had any problems with bullet pull but I have not been using very heavy loads in the gun...

Using Lee Dies, including their Carbide Factory Crimp Die...
