The 9x23 brass looks interesting! Has anyone ever measured out the 10mm brass offerings out there? What's deemed the strongest in 10mm if you were to run it unsupported?

There are many different 10mm brass out there, most brittle have been the Federal and Hornady as I have seen them split the side wall on the initial firings.

The Winchester cases although stronger when new in my opinion, tarnish easily with time, remember your Silver Tips.  Star Line I find is soft, but this is a handloader's brass, as brass will work harden a little more with each reuse.  I have seen some harsh bulges, "SMILES" and yes case blow out in 10mm with a lack of support.  There was a guy that had several blowouts with Armscor Ammo and cases as fired from a Colt DE.  We all know about the lack of case support there.

Norma, Speer/CCI, Remington, Midway has been good, HMR and a few others I haven't shot enough from them to form an opinion.

I have looked over the JAG info and it looks to be a good brass, but I have a feeling the yellow brass is soft after seeing your picture where it was kicked out from under the ejector.  There Black Nickle should be a little harder like other nickle plated brass, however most newer nickle brass is very thinly plated and wears off quickly.

In the game of ammo everything is relevant...Pressure of the load, actual case support, bullet fit and neck tension, condition and size of the bore/rifling/truing cone/freebore.
The "10mm" I'm Packin', Has The Bullets Wackin', Smakin' & The Slide is Rackin' & Jackin'!

I may be one of the few reloaders here that actually prefers nickel plated cases. I have never noticed them splitting before my brass cases do. And nickle stays nice and shiny a lot longer than brass does in hot, humid, Southern Alabama.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?
