After looking at all the info on here and shooting some myself it is my conclusion that PPU is FBI Low Power Lite. It is the slowest 180 gr ammo of all 10mm. It may not even make good target ammo unless you set your gun up to shoot it it is so slow. I guess for the money and range work I can live with it. And I did only give 42 cents per round. Just a little more than a 22lr. LOL

Not the slowest. No, that title is held by the DoubleTap 230gr all by itself  :o at a tested 852 FPS  :o :o

Raggedyman

He did say 180 gr.  ;)

I'm still surprised that it was substantially slower than .40 S&W at the same weight.

After today's testing giving 1004 FPS average they have moved back down to the bottom of the 180 list. So yes... Surefire was the lowest until today  :o

My Hunter almost hangs up with the stuff using the 20lb spring  ;D

So  PPU=Poor Performance undepowered!  Ooops!  :o

I know this sucks because it's so affordable.

It's not that much less than PBR. When he gets stock I'm in!

And PBR did pretty well in the two tests I've done so far. The 180 gr Zero wasn't too impressive but the velocity figures were good and the 200 gr XTP was pure baddassery. If I was going to buy commercial 10mm ammo, that would be close to the top of my list.
