If you were switching from the factory barrel what would you use and why.
We have Lone Wolf,Bar Sto,KK and some I  am sure I forgot. All info helpful.I shoot very few hard cast so I can use the Glock barrel with no problem but is there a better more accurate barrel? Also what about Guide rod and recoil spring. I looked at Wolff. I am no rookie just a rookie on the 10mm. How did I miss the perfect round all these years. I was always a 45ACP guy and the 10 is almost a double 45 with full loads and proper bullets. Just curious about the barrel. Can the Glock 20 be made to shoot better from the factory with a new barrel and not a 6 inch barrel and also better rod and spring. I do not like the plastic rod.

I run factory barrels.  If I were going to get a different barrel, I would probably start with Storm Lake.  No good reason, just gut reaction.

I don't have the G-20 yet, but do have a LWD 9x25Dillon barrel for one!  However the G-29 I mainly use my factory barrel for 10mm.  Although I do have the Storm Lake 10mm and also the 40S&W that I use for testing and some range work with no issues other than the 40S&W barrels is very tight chambered.  I also have the LWD 357Sig and 9x25Dillon barrels these are also very good tolerance and quality!

Some have seen some issues in their recent purchases and they have talked about this on the forum, not sure if the returned barrels were sent back yet? ???

IF you only intend to shoot factory loads it's gets harder to justify change (IMO).  In terms of general barrel quality I don't believe you will get any better overall quality over the Glock factory barrel itself.  That's not to say there aren't differences between aftermarket barrels and Glock OEM barrels, as there are.

The differences in going with an aftermarket barrel, in varying degrees depending on manufactuer, can range from; tighter chambers, more case support, different types of rifling and the process by which the rifling is done, and to simply switch to stainless steel.  Also of course optionally going to extended barrel lengths, but you already mentioned not being interested in anything beyond stock length.

As for accuracy, I guess it depends on what accuracy you hope to achieve.  A stock glock barrel is generally very accurate (~2" groups at 25 yards depending on the ammo used), and more accurate than needed for combat accuracy within the design limitations of the platform overall.  What level accuracy are you looking to achieve?  Under an inch at 25 yards?

One of the biggest benefits of staying with the stock barrel is feed reliability, even with a grossly filthy chamber if such a situation should arise.  But if the main intended purposed are competition and/or hunting you may not care as much.

So I guess if you're still interested in an aftermarket barrel, which brand do you choose.  That can be tough to answer.  All the manufactuers make great barrels.  That said, every single one of them has had barrels sent back for one issue or another (except possibly EFK Firedragon as no one ever seems to bring them up at all so we simply don't know).  And their barrels all vary from each others in one way or another.  I would suggest at least taking a peek at this thread I started a little while back for a general heads up on what the manufactuers at least claim, and go from there based on your own thoughts and reasoning on what might work best for you -  http://10mm-firearms.com/gunsmithing/aftermarket-barrel-details/

I bought a Storm Lake barrel for my G20 some months back because I decided the Storm Lake brand was best for what I wanted (excellent case support).  Turns out the throat was reamed off center so I sent it back and am still waiting for a replacement barrel.  Not a huge deal to me, as it isn't detrimental to my everyday life, so I'm patiently waiting on a replacement.  You can see those details in the following thread - http://10mm-firearms.com/10mm-semi-auto-handguns/aftermarket-barrel-quality-or-lack-thereof-with-pics/

There's Lone Wolf, but recently they've gone to a barrel design with less chamber support, not much better if at all to a stock Glock barrel, so I don't really see the point in going with them anymore.  If you buy an older used LW barrel they had very good chamber support and generally very tight chambers overall.

KKM had relatively tight chambers with a little bit less case web support than the Storm Lake barrels, but quite a bit more than the new Lone Wolf 10mm barrels.  The KKM barrels also have a highly polished bore because of the button rifling process the use.

Bar-Sto is always an option if the high cost doesn't scare you away.

Here are 2 good threads showing pics of case web support in a host of different barrels for the G20 platform and many others for comparison -
