Hello all from Texas. I lurked for a little a little while and found some interesting threads on multiple topics, I hope to be able to contribute to future conversations in a useful way.

I've been around awhile and the 10mm Auto cartridge has been on my radar from nearly its beginning. I handled a Bren 10 that was already spoken for when they came out but never managed to aquire one. Years later I bought what I consider a great pistol for the round, the Tanfo fullsize steel Witness.

I got mine early, before the slide recontour, and have never had a problem. I've read all about the cracking issue and while it gives me some little concern, I'm not so worried that I limit my shooting. I've switched to a heavier spring and purchased Henning's conefit guiderod. If my gun breaks, I won't hesitate to upgrade to a Stock III (I might anyway:).

I'm an experienced handloading geek as well, and love to read those threads... so I look forward to time spent here.

texasandy, welcome to the forum and you have interest in what you have seen so far!  Many have contributed to the info here over the years.
I too have followed the 10mm Auto since its inception but I started with the S&W 1006 at the start of 1990 and the addiction is all too real!   ;D
The cracking issues of some of the Tanfoglio's did give me some concerns as I thought of purchasing one...However they are some great guns!

Best regards and enjoy the forum!

Hello Texas Andy from College Station, Texas.  I too am a self confessed 10mm junkie.  Almost all of my 10s are in the form of a Dan Wesson or Nighthawk 1911 with the exception of a Glock 20 I have.  Nice to have a fellow Texan here.
